The Way I Walk

So I've never been an athletic person. Or really even an active person. But I have to admit something. A weird phenomenon. These days, when I put on my tennis shoes (or sneakers, or whatever) I feel...different. I walk faster, more confidently.

I've just noticed it the past few days. My normal foot attire is flipflops. I walk slow, I drag my feet. But I put my tennis shoes on and I feel like I'm on the treadmill! Gliding past everyone I see!

I guess it's because I associate the tennis shoes with the gym. I automatically feel like I'm improving me. And I think I like it.
